Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, Assistant General Manager, and the Hotel General Manager, Housepersons consistently deliver a comfortable and inviting guest experience through thorough maintenance of guest rooms and public space with attention to detail and guest satisfaction. Essential Duties: Ability to use cleaning solutions as may be necessary, to push a vacuum, mop, or broom. The ability to see, stand, walk, sit, push a cart, bend, kneel, reach including overhead and from bending or down low, to carry, and to lift up to 25 lbs. Specific Requirements of this role: Clean public areas and assigned rooms within allotted time according to hotel standards, including changing beds, dusting furniture, replenishing towels and guest supplies, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming and mopping. Maintain the appearance of the hotel exterior, including sidewalks, parking areas, and hotel entrances. Ensure that housekeepers receive all requested items to complete the cleaning of their assigned rooms. Set up meeting rooms according to instructions given. Assist guests after housekeeping is gone for the day, should there be any complaints or requests. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Proven work experience, hotel experience is a plus. Dependability and flexible scheduling arrangements in order to meet the ever-changing demands of the hotel, occupancy rates, seasonal guest bookings, and special events.
