Interior Plantscape San Francisco Marin Interior Plantscape is a family-owned indoor plant service company with over 35 years of experience creating and maintaining high-quality plant environments throughout San Francisco and Marin.We are continuing to grow and are looking for a dependable, experienced, and motivated team member to join us long-term.This is a full-time position (5 days per week) for someone who takes pride in their work, understands plant care at a high level, and wants to be part of a company they can grow with for years to come.About the Role This is not an entry-level position.We're looking for someone who already understands indoor/tropical plant care and can confidently maintain high-end client accounts.You'll be responsible for independently servicing client locations--keeping plants healthy, beautiful, and thriving while representing our company with professionalism and care.This role also goes beyond basic plant maintenance.There is opportunity to expand your responsibilities into:Plant installations Greenhouse support and plant prep Account checkups and quality control visits Supporting overall plant health strategy across accounts The role we're envisioning is intentionally a bit flexible and could be shaped around the right person.It would likely include a mix of plant service technician work along with assistant manager responsibilities, new account setup, account check-ins, and potentially other areas depending on your interests and strengths.We are looking for someone who wants to grow into a well-rounded, long-term contributor to our team--not someone seeking short-term or seasonal work.What We're Looking For Minimum 1year of hands-on experience with indoor/tropical plant care (required) Strong knowledge of:Watering, pruning, and fertilization Pest identification and treatment Diagnosing plant health issues Ability to identify common interior plant species Highly reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Strong communication skills and professionalism with clients Ability to work independently and manage a daily route Physically capable of lifting up to 40 lbs and working with ladders and equipment Valid driver's license with a clean record Transportation & Driving Requirements:You must have your own reliable vehicle to get to and from our Mill Valley greenhouse You must be comfortable driving throughout the Bay Area, primarily between Marin and San Francisco.Daily routes are organized by area, so once you arrive in a zone, client stops are typically grouped close together (often just minutes apart).Most longer driving occurs at the beginning and end of the day when traveling to and from our Mill Valley greenhouse.Driving is a significant part of this role (company vehicle provided during the workday) We do not service the East Bay Responsibilities Service client locations weekly (watering, pruning, fertilizing, pest control) Monitor plant health and proactively address issues Install and refresh plants and containers as needed Communicate clearly with the team regarding plant needs and replacements Build and maintain strong client relationships Keep accurate service records and stay organized Assist with installations, greenhouse tasks, and quality control visits as needed Perform physically active work including lifting, ladder use, and loading/unloading materials Typical Day:Begin at our Mill Valley greenhouse around 9:00 AM, transition into a company vehicle, and complete your service route for the day ending the day around 5:00pm.Scheduling is flexible within client availability (generally between 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday-Friday).Compensation & Benefits Full-time position (5 days per week) $24.00 - $28.00 per hour, depending on experience Opportunities for wage growth based on performance, reliability, and client relationships Additional benefits include:Employee discounts Referral program Health insurance options for full-time employees Company vehicle provided during the workday Important When applying, please include more than just a resume.We want to understand who you are and how you work with plants.In your email, please:Tell us your story and your experience with plants Share examples of plants you've cared for Describe pests or plant issues you've dealt with Include photos of plants you've maintained, if available The more detail you provide, the better we can understand your experience and fit for this role.About Interior Plantscape We specialize in designing and maintaining interior plant environments for a wide range of clients, from offices to large-scale installations.As a small, dedicated team, we value quality, consistency, and long-term relationships--with both our clients and our employees.How
