Job Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Infant Teacher Assistant! In this dynamic role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help lay the foundation for young children’s growth, development, and love of learning. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of little ones while gaining valuable experience in early childhood education. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing daily activities that promote infant and toddler development, including play, sensory exploration, and early learning exercises Support infants and toddlers with their basic needs, such as feeding, diapering, and comforting to ensure a safe and caring environment Help maintain a clean, organized classroom that adheres to health and safety standards Observe and document children’s progress, behaviors, and developmental milestones to inform teaching strategies Engage children in age-appropriate activities that foster social skills, motor development, and emotional well-being Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and promoting respectful interactions among children Collaborate with team members to plan and execute educational programs aligned with childhood development principles Skills Experience working with infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children in daycare or classroom settings Knowledge of early childhood development theories and best practices for infant care Ability to perform first aid and CPR; certification preferred but not required upon hire Strong understanding of special education needs and working effectively with children with disabilities Excellent caregiving skills combined with patience, compassion, and a positive attitude Effective classroom management techniques to support behavior management and create a nurturing environment Familiarity with childcare safety protocols, diapering procedures, and hygiene standards Ability to work collaboratively within a team of educators and caregivers to support children's growth Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels the development of young minds!
