Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for infants and toddlers Provide attentive infant and toddler care, including feeding, diapering, nap times, and sensory activities that support their individual needs Foster a nurturing environment that encourages exploration, independence, and positive interactions among children Maintain detailed documentation of each child's developmental progress and daily activities to inform family updates and program planning Manage classroom routines efficiently while ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed at all times Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive team approach to early childhood education and behavior management Engage with families regularly to share insights on their child's growth and address any questions or concerns Qualifications Prior experience working with infants and toddlers in a daycare, preschool, or caregiving setting is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or working with children with disabilities are a plus Strong classroom management skills combined with compassionate caregiving abilities Ability to implement behavior management strategies that promote positive social interactions Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and team members Flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs of young children and the classroom environment Join us in shaping bright futures by providing exceptional care and education during these formative years!
