Injection and Extrusion Technician

Grosfillex Injection and Extrusion Technician Grosfillex is a 97-year old company with a presence in PA for over 55 years.We offer full-time employment, a competitive salary, and generous benefits, including health insurance, four weeks of paid time off (PTO), 8-paid holidays, 401K Plan, and more.We currently have openings for Injection and Extrusion Technicians on multiple shifts in our Robesonia location.Preference will be given to applicants who are able to work on the 2nd Shift (3:00 p.m.to 11:00 p.m.).Responsibilities:Operate and maintain plastic injection and plastic extrusion equipment/processes, including all supporting equipment (robots, molds, dies, material feeders, dryers, compounders, hydraulic systems, cooling systems, etc.).Operate and maintain other automated industrial equipment (overhead cranes, conveyors, packaging equipment, forklifts, etc.).Maintain product quality and troubleshoot technical issues with the production process.Perform in-process Quality testing.Perform machine maintenance, both unplanned and preventative.Maintain written records of all process changes and equipment repair activities.Communicate relevant information about the running of the shift to staff on the next shift.Participate in packing/unpacking molds as required for overseas shipments.Work from verbal and written instructions (in English).Maintain a clean and safe workplace.Manage the work of others, as required, including orienting new employees to the workplace.Freely share technical knowledge with co-workers.Continuously learn and master a wide variety of new skills.Demonstrate a generous approach to teamwork.Fill in for other positions (operators, material handlers) on an as-needed basis.Qualifications:Formal technical training or the equivalent on-the-job experience Computer skills as necessary to communicate with/operate complex automated equipment Physical abilities as required by the job - These include standing, walking, climbing, stooping, lifting, and working out of doors.Job Type:Full-time Benefits:401(k) 4% Match Dental insurance Employee assistance program Employee discount Flexible spending account Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Ability to Relocate:Robesonia, PA 19551:Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location:In person.
