Ink Technician

Job Title:Ink Technician Location:Stone Mountain, GA.Shift:1st Shift Pay:Based on Experience Overview:Under minimal supervision, provide basic level color matching, formulating, and small batch blending support on-site at our customer location.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Produce and quality control inks to ensure inks meet or exceed the customer's specifications.Perform color matching and formulation.Maintain detailed production and QC records.Support customer's schedule through production coordination.Identifies and execute at a high level any rework opportunities based on review of batch tickets.Provide strong press side technical service, troubleshoot problems, and provide detailed and consistent technical reporting.Maintain monthly and weekly reporting to CTS and Sales organization.Maintain housekeeping and safe operations Must be able to lift up to 50 lb.buckets; and move 500 lb.drums following operating procedures.REQUIRED EDUCATION AND Experience:High School Diploma or GED Knowledge of MS Word/Excel/Outlook; as well as dispensing and color match software Capable of lifting 50 lbs.throughout the day 1years industry experience This is a customer-facing position that requires a high degree of interpersonal skill.Job Type:Full-time Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee assistance program Flexible spending account Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Referral program Vision insurance People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Work Location:In person.
