NOW HIRING Full-Time Mailroom Employee Responsibilities:-Must be able to work in a teamwork environment during the production of newspaper publications.-We will train to setup the insert machines and labeling system as well as organize the warehouse.-We will train to observe and monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions and to determine whether adjustments are needed.-Works with production manager and mailroom manager in performing daily and monthly maintenance and troubleshooting.-Will drive company van to post office for newspaper bundle drop offs.-Performs other job duties as assigned.Requirements:-Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.-Must be able to accurately follows instructions.-Must demonstrate basic computer skills to complete data entry.-Must have the ability to perform intermediate arithmetic.-Mechanical aptitude from prior work experience is a plus.-Must be able to demonstrate effective decision-making skills.-Must be willing to work overtime as needed.-Must be able to maintain good attendance.-Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and able to climb stairs on a regular basis.-Must be forklift certified within 60 days of employment.-Must have a valid driver's license and clear driving record.WHAT WE OFFER:Culture based on integrity, respect and accountability.We will provide excellent comprehensive training with numerous learning and development opportunities.This is a full-time, 35 hours per week job.Hours are generally 10:00 am to 6:30 pm Monday through Friday.Benefits include health, dental, vision insurance, paid time off and a 401(k) plan.Stop by The Mountain Press at 119 River Bend Drive, Sevierville, TN 37876 to fill out an application or call Marie at 865-413-0329.Paxton Media Group is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, sex, age, national origin or disability.Pay:$13.00 - $15.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) Dental insurance Flexible spending account Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule:4 hour shift 8 hour shift Experience:Manufacturing:1 year (Preferred) Work Location:In person.
