Inside Sales Representative -- Diesel Power Group Diesel Power Group (DPG) is a premier heavy-duty diesel engine remanufacturing business based in Pierceton, Indiana.We are disrupting the engine-powered industry through superior products and unmatched customer experience.For over four decades, Diesel Power Group has been committed to empowering truckers, farmers and fleet managers with reliable, remanufactured diesel engines that stand the test of time.From our humble beginnings to becoming a leader in the industry, our journey has always been about delivering quality, innovation, and customer-first service.Discover our story and see how we continue to drive forward, mile after mile.At DPG, we pride ourselves on our one-team culture, working side by side to solve challenges for our customers.Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Inside Sales Representative to accelerate revenue growth for heavy-duty diesel remanufactured engines and related products.This role focuses on inbound and outbound sales, house-account development, lead conversion, quoting, and customer relationship management across fleet, industrial, and commercial markets.Based at our Pierceton, Indiana facility, this position operates as a primary point of contact for customers via phone, email, and digital channels.The Inside Sales Representative works closely with operations, technical teams, and field personnel to deliver fast, accurate solutions and an exceptional customer experience.The ideal candidate possesses strong diesel industry knowledge, excellent communication skills, commercial discipline, and a proven ability to convert opportunities into orders while managing multiple accounts simultaneously.Less than 20% occasional travel for training or events.Key Responsibilities:Sales & Revenue Generation Handle inbound inquiries and convert leads into sales opportunities Conduct outbound prospecting to fleets, repair shops, distributors, and owner-operators Grow revenue from house accounts through proactive engagement and cross-selling Follow up on quotes to drive closure and maximize win rates Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities Account Management Serve as primary contact for assigned customers and house accounts Build long-term relationships with fleet managers, service directors, buyers, and shop owners Identify opportunities to expand product penetration within existing accounts Ensure high customer satisfaction, responsiveness, and retention Technical & Solution Sales Support Recommend engine configurations, long blocks, and overhaul solutions based on application Communicate specifications, availability, pricing, and performance information Coordinate with technical teams on complex requirements Prepare accurate quotes, proposals, and order documentation Support contract execution and order processing Order Management & Customer Service Guide customers through the purchasing process from inquiry to shipment Coordinate with production, inventory, and logistics teams on delivery timelines Provide order status updates and resolve issues quickly Manage warranty inquiries and service coordination as needed Market & Channel Support Support distributor and repair network relationships through ongoing communication Identify upsell opportunities for parts, accessories, and services Monitor competitor pricing and market activity Assist field sales with account support and follow-up CRM & Reporting Maintain accurate records of contacts, activities, pipeline, and forecasts Track performance against sales targets Provide regular updates to leadership based in Pierceton, IN Ensure disciplined use of CRM systems Qualifications Required:3-5years of inside sales, customer service sales, or account management experience Experience in heavy-duty diesel engines, powertrain components, trucking, or related industries strongly preferred Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed revenue targets Strong understanding of Class 6-8 equipment markets Excellent phone presence, written communication, and closing skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset Preferred:Experience selling remanufactured engines or major diesel components Knowledge of engine rebuilds, in-frame overhauls, and lifecycle maintenance Familiarity with fleet operations and service environments Experience supporting distributors or repair networks Experience with CRM platforms (Odoo, Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) Business or technical degree preferred Compensation:The estimated salary range for this role is $55,000 to $70,000, plus incentives.Beginning salary is based on factors including, but not limited to skill set, years of experience, education, and certification.Benefits:401(k) with company match Dental insurance Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Vision insuranc
