We’re excited to announce that applications are now open for the Windy City Wire Sales Class of 2026. Our team is actively reviewing candidates and extending offers on a rolling basis, so early submissions are encouraged. If you’re ready to launch your sales career with a company that invests in your growth from day one, now is the time to apply. This opportunity is designed for college seniors graduating in spring 2026, as well as early‑career professionals who are ready to commit to building a long-term, growth-oriented career in sales. Join Windy City Wire’s Sales Class of 2026 and launch your career with the industry leader in low-voltage cable management solutions. Since 1994, we’ve been innovating beyond the cable to deliver complete, time-saving solutions for integrators—from concept to completion. You’ll step into a professional, collaborative sales environment that invests in your success with extensive product, sales, and systems training in a classroom-style setting. You’ll also have the advantage of selling exclusive, patented technology backed by a brand customers know and trust. Overview Drive growth and build lasting customer relationships by delivering cutting-edge cable and technology solutions. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will engage with business and industrial clients, identify opportunities, and convert leads into long-term partnerships through consultative, solution-based selling. Key Responsibilities Proactively identify and develop new sales opportunities using leads from trade shows, digital channels, reseller networks, business directories, and inbound inquiries. Conduct high-impact outbound calls and emails to qualify prospects, uncover needs, and close sales. Convert inbound inquiries into revenue by providing knowledgeable, responsive sales support. Confidently overcome technical and business objections by positioning tailored solutions. Deliver compelling product demonstrations for qualified customers. Highlight key product benefits, prepare accurate quotes, explain credit terms, and process sales orders. Provide reliable delivery timelines based on production and logistics schedules. Coordinate customer training to ensure successful product adoption. Build, strengthen, and maintain long-term customer relationships. Prepare and maintain detailed reports of sales activity and business transactions. Accurately enter and update customer and sales data in the CRM system. Collaborate closely with outside sales representatives to keep account activity and materials current. Resolve customer delivery issues quickly and professionally to ensure satisfaction. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university or 2–3 years of related sales experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
