Inside Sales Specialist-Hydraulics

Summary We are seeking an individual familiar with fluid power/hydraulics to join our team. Someone who can hit the ground running in a fast paced position. This role is essential for driving sales growth and enhancing customer relationships. As our customers first point of contact, the ideal candidate will be responsible for engaging with customers, understanding their needs and providing accurate information about our hydraulic manifolds in a timely manner. Salary based on Experience. Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers. Respond to calls/emails following up on inquiries in a professional timely manner. Provide accurate quotes, gathering information such as; materials, labor, and other factors that might impact the final price. Process purchase orders from customers, providing them with accurate information regarding price and lead times. Addressing any needs or concerns promptly. This position requires an understanding of the manufacturing process and the ability to read prints/drawings so that an accurate cost breakdown can be determined, and any technical questions may be answered. Ordering necessary materials for jobs. A full understanding of manufacturing process from providing an accurate quote to seeing the final product out the door. Coordinate with engineering and production to ensure on-time delivery Requirements Proven experience in inside sales with manufacturing and hydraulics. Strong customer service and organization skills. Excellent communication, both verbal and written. Ability to negotiate effectively and close deals successfully. An understanding of the manufacturing process. Knowledge of hydraulics, fluid power, or mechanical components. Familiarity with Schematics and reading prints would be a plus. Self-motivated, organized and dependable.
