Inspection Technician - Vacation Rental HomesDepartment Operations - Quality Assurance & Turnover Support Reports To Operations Manager / Quality Services Director About LakeDays.Rentals LakeDays.Rentals is a family-owned vacation rental management company serving Lake of the Ozarks.Our mission is to positively influence each life touched by our organization--our guests, property owners, team members, and community.We believe great hospitality is built on strong systems, thoughtful service, local knowledge, and genuine care for people.Our Inspection Technicians play a critical role in protecting quality, consistency, and trust by ensuring each home meets LakeDays.Rentals' readiness and presentation standards before guests arrive.Position Summary The Inspection Technician is responsible for inspecting vacation rental homes following cleaning and staging to confirm cleanliness, accuracy, safety, and overall readiness.This role focuses on detailed review, verification of standards, restocking and light staging adjustments, and identifying issues that could impact the guest experience.Inspection Technicians serve as a quality checkpoint between operations and guest arrival, working with precision, accountability, and a strong attention to detail.Key Responsibilities Inspect vacation rental homes using established checklists and quality standards Verify cleanliness, staging accuracy, inventory placement, and overall presentation Perform detailed visual and functional checks of kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, and outdoor spaces Restock supplies, amenities, and linens per protocol Provide laundry support per protocol, including stocking and occasional laundry duties as needed Identify, document, and report deficiencies, damage, missing items, or maintenance concerns Communicate findings clearly and promptly through company systems Make minor adjustments to staging or setup to meet standards Confirm homes are secure, guest-ready, and properly set for arrival Support operations and turnover tasks as needed Standards of Conduct & Expectations Inspection Technicians are expected to:Maintain a high level of accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail Follow systems, checklists, and documentation requirements precisely Approach inspections with objectivity and professionalism Communicate respectfully and constructively with team members and leadership Take ownership of quality outcomes and escalate issues appropriately Represent LakeDays.Rentals positively within homes and surrounding communities Qualifications & Requirements Valid driver's license Proof of valid auto insurance Reliable personal vehicle for travel between properties Strong attention to detail and observational skills Ability to follow written standards and inspection protocols Clear communication and basic technology skills for reporting Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Prior inspection, hospitality, or quality assurance experience is helpful but not required Work Environment & Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move items weighing a minimum of 40 pounds Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching for extended periods Ability to safely navigate stairs while carrying items Ability to traverse uneven exterior surfaces at properties Repetitive motions related to inspection, stocking, and setup Indoor and outdoor work environments with exposure to cleaning products Why Work With LakeDays.Rentals Inspection Technicians help ensure every guest arrival reflects the care, preparation, and standards LakeDays.Rentals is known for.This role is essential to guest satisfaction, owner confidence, and operational excellence.We value team members who take pride in precision, consistency, and supporting a culture of quality.This job description outlines the general nature of the position and may be adjusted based on operational needs.Pay:$17.00 - $18.00 per hour Work Location:Hybrid remote in Gravois Mills, MO 65037.
