Inspector

Work under the direction of the Inspection Supervisor. Plan and perform a variety of incoming, first piece setup, and final audit inspections, keep records, check and test, following standard and recognized procedures. About the Role Duties involve the use of a variety of gauges and precision measuring instruments. Verify use of inspection equipment and check calibration to assure that expiration date of calibration has not been exceeded. Responsibilities Duties involve use and interpretation of complex blueprints and specifications together with the ability to perform relevant calculations and layouts. Detect and report faulty operations, defective materials and unusual matters to proper supervision. Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition. Follow prescribed and standard safety regulations. Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
