Company:J&S FlooringJob Type:Full-timeLocation:Keyport, NJ (1x per week work from home) About the Role J&S Flooring is seeking a highly experienced flooring professional to serve as a key onsite escalation and customer care lead.This role requires a minimum of 5 years of mandatory, hands-on flooring industry experience and strong real-time problem-solving skills to protect customer satisfaction, support installers, and keep projects moving forward.Required Experience (Non-Negotiable) 5years of flooring experience (MANDATORY) -- must be able to troubleshoot onsite flooring job issues in real time and understand installer workflows, jobsite realities, and common product/material challenges.Key Responsibilities Act as an escalation point for onsite job issues and customer care escalations; ensure proper documentation of jobsite situations.Manage onsite issues in real time to support customer satisfaction and provide clear guidance to installers while maintaining service quality.Coach and guide team members in handling onsite concerns and customer service escalations with professionalism and policy compliance.What You'll Bring Strong knowledge of flooring installations, jobsite coordination, and issue resolution (tile/LVP/hardwood/laminate/carpet knowledge a must).Excellent customer service instincts--calm under pressure, solutions-focused, and professional.Strong documentation habits and comfort working in job tracking systems.Ability to communicate clearly with installers, internal teams, warehouse, and operations stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications Experience in field operations, install coordination, or flooring project management Familiarity with PO/PR workflows and reconciliation processes Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not necessary.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee assistance program Health insurance Paid time off Referral program Vision insurance Work Location:In person.
