We install blinds, shades, drapery, and motorized systems for multifamily, hospitality, healthcare, and large commercial projects. We are growing our in-house installation team and hiring technicians who take pride in precision, efficiency, and professional field execution. This is not residential retail work - our projects are structured, repeatable, and large-scale. Accuracy and consistency matter. Pay Structure (Please Read Carefully) Starting pay is $21.00 per hour, with up to $23.00 per hour based on experience. After training, installers have the opportunity to earn additional income through a performance-based piece-rate system. You are paid either your hourly rate or piece-rate, whichever is greater for the pay period. Piece-rate applies to active installation work and is designed to reward efficiency and accuracy in the field. Time spent on travel, preparation, or job site delays is paid hourly. All time must be tracked accurately using company systems. This structure ensures you are paid for all time worked while providing the opportunity to increase your earnings through strong performance. What You’ll Do - Installation & Field Work Install commercial window treatments including blinds, shades, drapery, and motorized systems Read install sheets, drawings, and job notes accurately Measure, layout, and install products to company standards Use hand and power tools safely and correctly Perform field adjustments and double-check completed work Maintain clean, organized job sites and remove debris daily Preparation & Accuracy Verify materials, quantities, and job numbers before leaving the warehouse Load, transport, and secure materials and tools properly Identify missing, damaged, or incorrect materials and report issues immediately Follow installation checklists and job documentation requirements Documentation & Communication Take before-and-after photos of completed work Submit daily install logs and required documentation accurately and on time Communicate clearly with your foreman or field lead throughout the day Maintain professionalism when interacting with site supervisors and other trades Safety & Teamwork Follow all safety protocols and wear PPE as required Work safely on ladders and lifts Collaborate with teammates to maintain pace and quality Support warehouse or production teams as needed between installs What Success Looks Like Installations are accurate, level, complete, and professional Minimal rework, callbacks, or punch-list items Materials are handled carefully and staged correctly Documentation is completed daily and on time You are reliable, communicative, and trusted in the field Increased install capacity helps reduce overtime and bottlenecks Qualifications Construction, installation, fabrication, or trade experience preferred Ability to read a tape measure and work comfortably with fractions (¼", ⅛") Comfortable using hand and power tools Ability to stand, lift, carry, and work on ladders throughout the day Able to lift up to 50 lbs, including awkward or bu
