Company Description The Institute of Health Sciences (IOHS) is a post-secondary allied health school located in Timonium, Maryland, with administrative offices in Hunt Valley, Maryland. Notably operating as a blended educational provider, IOHS offers 24/7 online didactic instruction through Moodle™ and provides clinical training at local accredited neurology laboratories. The institution partners with academic medical centers, community hospitals, and neurology centers across the U.S. The school is supported by a distinguished faculty and advisory committee, including physicians and technologists, to prepare graduates for patient-centered care as integral members of the healthcare team. Role Description This is a part-time, remote position for a Faculty role at the Institute of Health Sciences. The Faculty member will be responsible for monitoring online didactic instruction, and updating course materials, mentoring students, and supporting online learning platforms. Additional duties include evaluating student progression, class attendance and collaborating with other faculty, and contributing to the continuous improvement of the program's curriculum. Approximately two to three hours a week will be needed. Approximately 2-3 hours a week needed to oversee course. Qualifications Strong foundation in health sciences, allied health education, or related fields with relevant teaching experience. Proficiency in online learning systems, particularly Moodle™, and ability to create and deliver engaging digital course content. Excellent communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skills to effectively support diverse student populations in an online environment. Prior experience in a clinical setting, particularly in neurology or allied health, is highly desirable. Familiarity with creating inclusive learning environments and fostering collaboration among team members.
