Position Type: Support Staff/Instructional Aide, Bilingual Date Posted: 9/30/2025 Location: Highland Elementary School Posting Date: September 30, 2025 JOB OPPORTUNITY JOB TITLE : Instructional Aide - Bilingual (Spanish/English) SITE AND LOCATION OF POSITION : Highland Elementary School TERM AND HOURS OF POSITION : 5.75 hours per day RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES : With supervision by certificated staff, assist with small groups of Limited English Proficient (LEP) children, giving instructional assistance. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Two years of study at an institution of higher education, or an Associate's or higher degree, or pass a formal state or local academic assessment that demonstrates knowledge of and the ability to assist in teaching reading, writing, and mathematics (or reading, writing, and mathematics readiness). Fluent speaker/writer of the Spanish and English languages, and ability to pass Spanish/English literacy tests. SALARY : Range 6, $16.50 - $20.10 per hour based on 10 steps (additional $0.32 per hour in lieu of benefits). SCREENING PROCEDURES : Review of applications and personal interviews.
