JOB Based on our internal equity review process, the starting salary for this position will be $17.13.The current full hourly range for this position is $17.13 - $19.42Be a part of our amazing aquatics family and gain experience as a Water Fitness Instructor! Join the team at one or more of our swimming pools. We have year-round opportunities at our 3 indoor pools located at Eastside, Peoples and Norpoint Community Centers. This position provides hands-on learning opportunities for entry-level instructors in a supportive aquatic environment. Under the direction of an Aquatics Coordinator, the Instructor I will be trained by an Instructor III and will learn to assist in delivering established, safe, and effective water fitness workouts for a wide variety of participants. This role is designed for individuals who are interested in gaining experience in group fitness instruction and developing their skills while working toward water fitness certification. Day-to-day work includes assisting with class setup, supporting participant engagement, learning class structure, and gradually building confidence in leading portions of instruction. This is an on-site, instructional training role focused on development, learning, and foundational teaching experience. Applications are reviewed as they are received.
