Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities Calibration of pressure, temperature and flow instrumentation on industrial boilers. Boiler safety limit testing and calibration. Boiler combustion testing and combustion tune ups. Troubleshooting of industrial boiler control system problems. Repair/replacement of instrumentation to correct system problems. Control system commissioning and startup for new installations and retrofits. Operator training for newly commissioned systems Qualifications Technical skills include prior field service experience with strong hands on electrical and instrumentation capability Working knowledge of boilers, burners and controls. Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams and ladder logic diagrams. Familiarity with PLC’s, loop controllers and Fireye flame safety systems Intermediate or better expertise working with HART handheld communicators, multimeters and calibration equipment. PLC Programming experience is not required but is highly desirable. Benefits Company car or paid mileage and expense account.
