Seeking an entry level insulator and general laborer to work with the assembly and insulation team to ensure company products are designed, built and delivered right every time.The ideal candidate will be a team player and have mechanical aptitude.Job duties will include, but not limited to, reading of blueprints, use of various hand tools, fastening parts and assemblies, examining connections for correct fit, securing and fastening of insulation inside welded units and gathering of needed parts and materials.Opportunities for cross training in other departments.Works under immediate supervision.Other duties may be assigned as necessary.Classification:Non-exempt - Class 1 - Local 17 Sheet Metal Workers Union position Non-union members may apply but must become members of Local #17 Sheet Metal Workers Unionafter 90 days.Summary:The position requires the ability to install pre-cut insulation to a sheet metal structure by applying adhesives and utilizing hand tools.Requirements:Ability to work in a fast paced, large non-temperature controlled manufacturing environment.Ability to lift 50 lbs.with the assistance of another employee and or a cart or other vehicle.Standing a minimum of 8 hours a day Sitting a minimum of 0 hours a day Walking a minimum of 8 hours a day Pulling Pushing a minimum of 4 hours a day Highly motivated individual with attention to detail Other Functions:Other duties as assigned by management.Required Experience:Punctual Able to work with minimum supervision Physically capable of lifting and moving objects Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment Sense of urgency Positive Attitude Mechanical aptitude Educational Requirements:1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or construction environment preferred Please send resumes to Monique at mgerson@andoverpersonnel.com or call/text Monique at (978) 914-1790.Pay:$20.00 per hour Work Location:In person.
