Job Summary:We are a family owned insurance agency and have been in the insurance business for over sixty (60) years.Our current Insurance Agents have been with us for 27, 34 and 38 years and we are very proud to have worked with them all these years.We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused and friendly Insurance Agent with a good work ethic and attitude to join our team.We are also seeking a Insurance Agent trainee to join our team that has interest in becoming an Insurance Agent and has a good work ethic and attitude and a willingness to learn.The ideal Insurance Agent and or/trainee will be responsible for providing clients with tailored insurance solutions, building strong relationships, and expanding our customer base through effective sales strategies.This job offers opportunities for professional growth in a fast-paced environment, utilizing a diverse skill set including outside sales, negotiation, and excellent communication skills.The Insurance Agent and/or trainee will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while promoting various insurance products.Qualifications:Active Property & Casualty license required for Insurance Agent Insurance agency experience preferred Experience with agency management systems EZLynx is a plus Experience with Quickbooks, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word is a plus Proven experience in insurance sales, retail sales, or telemarketing preferred Strong analysis skills to assess client needs and recommend appropriate coverage options Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to negotiate effectively Familiarity with sales administration processes and benefits administration is desirable Demonstrated ability to work independently in outside sales environments and as part of a team Knowledge of marketing techniques relevant to insurance products is advantageous Customer service orientation with a professional demeanor and ethical standards Good attitude and attention to detail is imperative Compensation & Benefits:Salary (minimum of 2,500.00 per month) and possibility of commission, both based upon level of experience 401K and 401K match Health insurance provided for employee plus one-half of dependent coverage Dental Insurance Vision insurance Life Insurance Disability Insurance Responsibilities:Work with current clients assisting them with their insurance needs Develop new business Conduct thorough needs analysis to recommend suitable insurance policies to clients Negotiate policy terms and premiums to meet client needs while aligning with company guidelines Manage sales administration tasks such as processing applications, policy renewals, and documentation compliance Maintain ongoing communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify additional coverage opportunities Assist clients with benefits administration and claims processes, ensuring clarity and support throughout their experience Utilize marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing clients Uphold HIPAA compliance standards when handling sensitive client information Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally Perform general clerical tasks such s filing, copying and data entry Manage phone systems and direct calls to appropriate personnel Maintain organized and computerized filing systems.Job Type:Full-time Pay:From $30,000.00 per year Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Disability insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location:In person.
