Intake Coordinator

A company is looking for an Intake Coordinator to provide customer service and manage preauthorization inquiries. Key Responsibilities Receive and respond to incoming calls from members, providers, and other stakeholders Complete pre-authorizations and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines Make outbound calls to gather necessary information for utilization review and referrals to Care Management Required Qualifications Experience in medical office, insurance, or health-related customer service Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams and Outlook Experience working successfully in a remote environment Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred Ability to work independently and demonstrate flexibility
