Intake Screener - Spanish Northwestern Legal Services (NWLS) is seeking qualified applicants for (1) full-time (35 hrs/wk) Spanish-speaking Intake Screener in our Erie, PA office.NWLS is a PA non-profit legal aid organization providing free legal services to eligible residents w/civil legal issues in the 10 NW counties of PA.Intake Screeners are a part of our Central Intake Unit (CIU), which is housed in the Erie main office.Primary job duties include answering calls to our New Client Line, screening applicants for eligibility, entering confidential client data, making referrals & scheduling appointments.Applicants must have basic typing & computer skills, attention to detail, effective communication skills in Spanish & English, and professionalism & tact while dealing w/diverse applicants & staff via phone & in-person.Prior relevant experience preferred.Knowledge of MS Outlook & Word & ability to navigate the internet expected.Starting annual salary - $29,120+; salary increases w/prior relevant exp.We offer EXCELLENT Benefits:health, dental & vision insurance, vacation, personal & sick time, 12.5 paid annual holidays, & employer 401(k) contributions.Employment currently qualifies for the federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness program.We are an EEO Employer.To be considered, all applicants must email, fax, or mail a detailed cover letter, resume & minimum of 2 references to:contact@nwls.org.Salary/Compensation:$29,120 - $29,121 per year recblid k531ixqqs4sumsx8qd60qtyl37noh9.
