Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years ICU RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This contract position is based in Cleveland, OH, offering a chance to utilize your specialized skills in an acute care environment. The role requires flexibility with floating across all inpatient areas, including Stepdown and Medical/Surgical units, to support a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4. Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU and other inpatient units. Monitor patient conditions, administer treatments, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Adhere to protocols and safety standards while providing compassionate patient-centered care. Effectively manage care priorities during night shifts and support smooth unit operations. Float between UH Lake West Medical Center and UH Tripoint Medical Center inpatient areas as needed. Qualifications Current RN license in the state of Ohio. Proven ICU nursing experience with the ability to manage acute and complex cases. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments. Willingness to float across units and adapt to varying patient care needs.
