Role Description We are seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider to join our team in Ridgewood, NJ. This on-site role involves providing advanced clinical care, including assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients in the ICU. Responsibilities include performing critical care procedures, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans, monitoring patient progress, and ensuring the highest quality of patient outcomes. The provider will also engage in patient education, participate in research or quality improvement projects, and adhere to clinical standards and practices. This is a dynamic and rewarding role that requires flexibility, clinical expertise, and a commitment to excellence in patient care. Qualifications Clinical expertise in critical care management, including patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning Proficiency in performing ICU-specific procedures such as intubation, central line insertion, and arterial line placement Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams Advanced knowledge of patient education, including discharge planning and family support Commitment to evidence-based practices, quality improvement, and adherence to regulatory and safety standards Licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) and certification in critical care preferred BLS and ACLS certifications required; additional certifications such as FCCS or CCRN are a plus Minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care, ICU, or a related field Capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining empathy and focus on patient care
