The successful candidate will be a hands-on finance executive with a strong background in nonprofit financial management, particularly in the areas of grants and government funding. Key responsibilities for this role include serving as the senior financial leader, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and overseeing all financial activities within the organization. The Interim CFO will also be tasked with maintaining and managing financial systems, partnering with auditors, and leading the preparation and presentation of financial reports to the board and finance committee. Applicants for the Interim CFO position at the company must have a minimum of 5 years' experience as a CFO, with a proven track record of working in transitional environments. Advanced Excel skills and the ability to make strategic financial recommendations are essential.
