Job specific details: The Interim Director of Perioperative Services is responsible for the strategic, operational, and financial management of surgical services including operating rooms and recovery units. Manage daily operations of the operating room, pre-op, and PACU. Develop and implement goals, policies and procedures to improve surgical services and financial improvement. Ensure adherence to regulatory standards. Responsible for 12 operating rooms - the hospital currently 900 procedures per month. The Interim Director will assist with increasing case volume. Assist with lowering case add-ons - currently at 30%. Responsible for 250 FTEs across the OR, Pre-Op, PACU, Endo and SPD. Reports directly to the Chief Nursing Officer. AK RN License required or must obtain during onboarding process. Must be able to start 3-4 weeks after acceptance.
