Your Role At Batesville As an International Sales & Support Specialist , you will be responsible for owning and growing a defined portfolio of international customers while actively developing new business opportunities. This role serves as the voice of the local market—bringing customer, competitive, and product insights into the organization to ensure Batesville offers the right products at the right price to win and retain customers. Acts as a primary day-to-day contact for assigned clients and serves as the primary operational contact for customers, ensuring a seamless and reliable end-to-end customer experience. This role requires consistent communication, ability to drive incremental revenue opportunities forward, and to provide customer support during the full buying journey. This position will proactively build relationships using Batesville’s standard sales process, while also effectively communicating with Batesville associates and customers to continually monitor, document and provide feedback as needed How You’ll Be Rewarded Batesville is a family. The expected hourly pay range for this role is $22.00 to $27.00 per hour, with total compensation including the opportunity to earn up to an additional 20% based on performance. Actual compensation within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, skills, experience, and location. Generous 401K Matching Program Paid time off Opportunities for development and advancement What You’ll Do Conducts outbound calls and virtual meetings to sell our products to grow Batesville’s overall book of business. Manage customer engagement across the sales lifecycle, from initial inquiry through deal close and ongoing relationship management Proactively identify, qualify, and pursue new customer opportunities within assigned regions or markets Conduct early‑stage opportunity discovery, needs assessment, and solution positioning Develop a strong understanding of local market dynamics, customer needs, and buying behaviors and translate into actionable insights for leadership Monitor and document competitive products, pricing, and go‑to‑market strategies Own end‑to‑end order entry, order processing, and order‑to‑cash execution, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Coordinate pricing setup, delivery costs, shipping documentation, and logistics execution in partnership with supply chain, procurement and freight forwarders Manage payment intake (credit card, wire, and other methods) and coordinate with cash application for timely posting Respond to customer inquiries related to order status, delivery timing, documentation, and quality issues Gather and synthesize customer feedback on product performance, gaps, and unmet needs Partner with sales leadership, product, and marketing to influence product portfolio and pricing strategies Maintain accurate CRM documentation of customer interactions, opportunities, pipeline, and insights Attend industry related associations and conventions as needed Other duties as required What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent from a college or university is strongly preferred 3+ years of experience in inside sales, account management, business development, or related roles. Experience working with small or developing account bases preferred Experience working in international markets is preferred Intermediate Microsoft Office experience is required CRM/Call Management experience preferred Travel Associate must be able to travel 5 % of the time.
