Job Description
Indiana University Health Medical Group is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Interventional Radiology APP (ACNP, FNP, PA) to join our growing Radiology team at Fort Wayne Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to practice with the state's largest and most comprehensive healthcare system while contributing to the expansion of IR services in northeast Indiana. The ideal candidate is a team-oriented, proactive clinician with strong critical-thinking skills and demonstrated experience performing minimally invasive radiology procedures. Key Responsibilities Independently perform and assist with a variety of image-guided procedures, including: Gastrointestinal fluoroscopic procedures Thoracentesis Paracentesis Joint injections and aspirations Lumbar punctures Image-guided biopsies Conduct pre-procedure evaluations and post-procedure follow-up Collaborate closely with interventional radiology radiologists, nursing staff, and ancillary teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care Participated in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of IR workflows and protocols. Qualifications Licensed or license eligible ACNP, FNP, PA in the state of Indiana Graduate of an accredited program Prior experience performing minimally invasive radiology procedures strongly preferred Strong procedural confidence, sound clinical judgement, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively Excellent communication skills and a commitment to patient safety and service excellence Why Fort Wayne & IU Health Medical Group Fort Wayne is one of Indiana's fastest-growing cities, offering a blend of urban amenities, affordable living, and family-friendly communities.
