Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Manager to oversee our inventory management processes of the dispensary. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal stock levels, managing supplier relationships, and utilizing data analytics to drive efficient order fulfillment. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in retail management and a passion for optimizing inventory systems. Responsibilities Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock is available for order fulfillment. Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and make informed purchasing decisions. Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate terms and maintain strong relationships for effective stock management. Implement and maintain inventory control systems, including data collection methods and reporting tools. Utilize analytics tools such as Power BI to visualize data and provide insights into inventory performance. Conduct regular audits of inventory to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies. Work closely with the logistics team to streamline the supply chain process and enhance overall efficiency. Develop financial models to assess the cost-effectiveness of inventory strategies. Skills Proficient in analytics and data mining techniques for effective decision-making. Experience with 3PL (third-party logistics) operations is a plus. Strong understanding of order fulfillment processes within a retail environment. Excellent supplier management skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively. Familiarity with financial modeling related to inventory management. Competence in using Power BI or similar tools for data visualization and reporting. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing stock levels. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
