Regional Inventory & Compliance Auditor – Cannabis Retail Northern California (Sacramento) (Multi-Location Travel Required) Full-Time About Ohana Cannabis Ohana Cannabis is a licensed medicinal and adult-use cannabis retailer operating across California. We are committed to maintaining accurate, compliant, and highly organized operations across all locations. Our inventory integrity is critical to our success, and we hold a high standard when it comes to accuracy, accountability, and compliance. Position Overview We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Regional Inventory & Compliance Auditor to oversee inventory accuracy and regulatory compliance across multiple dispensary locations. This is a high-responsibility role requiring someone who is analytical, thorough, and comfortable identifying issues and holding teams accountable. You will be responsible for ensuring that all locations are operating with accurate inventory, proper documentation, and full compliance with California cannabis regulations . The ideal candidate takes pride in precision, consistency, and following processes without exception . Key Responsibilities Inventory Auditing & Accuracy Conduct routine and scheduled inventory audits across multiple locations Reconcile physical inventory with POS, Metrc, and internal systems Identify discrepancies and investigate root causes thoroughly Ensure all inventory is properly tracked, labeled, and accounted for Compliance Oversight Ensure full adherence to California cannabis (DCC) regulations and internal SOPs Audit product handling, storage, labeling, and documentation for compliance Verify proper tracking of damaged, expired, or adjusted inventory Maintain audit logs and documentation for compliance reporting Reporting & Accountability Prepare clear, detailed audit reports and communicate findings to leadership Track recurring issues and identify operational gaps across locations Follow up with store teams to ensure corrective actions are completed Support process improvements and standardization across all stores What We’re Looking For Exceptional attention to detail— accuracy is non-negotiable Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and make objective assessments High level of accountability and follow-through Comfortable addressing issues and ensuring resolution Organized, structured, and process-driven mindset Ability to travel regularly between locations Qualifications 2+ years experience in inventory, auditing, or compliance (cannabis strongly preferred) Experience with POS systems and inventory tracking platforms (Metrc preferred) Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills (reconciliation, tracking, reporting) Knowledge of California cannabis regulations (DCC) or strong willingness to learn Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Must be 21+ and able to pass a background check Why Join Us Competitive pay + mileage reimbursement Opportunity to work across multiple locations and impact operations at a high level Growth opportunities within a compliance-focused organization Employee discounts Team-oriented, high-performance environment This role is critical to maintaining operational integrity—candidates must be comfortable working in a position where precision, accountability, and compliance are expected at all times.
