Job Description
The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for managing and mentoring the stock control team in the receipt, storage, and handling of a diverse range of materials to support the manufacture of electronic and mechanical systems. This individual maintains initiatives in the areas of employee development, and identifies, recommends and/or executes continuous improvement opportunities. Supervisory Responsibilities: Regularly review and communicate department performance in attaining goals, measuring performance, and delivering on established corporate metrics. Develop and maintain a skilled workforce through timely coaching and feedback, cross-training, and employee development. Maintain a sound organizational development plan by establishing policies to drive retention, attract top talent and ensure adequate development of future leaders through succession planning and training initiatives. Develop, implement and execute on strategic plans and financial goals across the operational landscape to meet deliverables and drive continuous improvement. Position Responsibilities: Create and maintain a skilled workforce through timely coaching and feedback, cross-training, and employee development. Identify training and personal development action plans. Resolve personnel issues in a timely, effective manner and in accordance with Sechan values expectations. Serves as a role model for values implementation and reinforcement. Recommends and/or executes processes and projects which support or enhance the company's inventory management strategy with the aim of controlling costs, generating savings, rationalizing inventory and maximizing available working capital. Develops an Understanding of industry best practices relating to Inventory Control processes. Manage and maintain the company's material and stocked product inventory to sufficiently support production and goals of t
