Inventory Coordinator Position Summary The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, supporting daily warehouse operations, and ensuring efficient flow of materials throughout the facility. This role ensures inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, proper documentation, and proactive communication with warehouse, operations, and purchasing teams. Key Responsibilities Inventory Control & Accuracy Maintain up-to-date and precise inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS) or ERP. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies. Investigate and resolve inventory issues, including incorrect counts, misplaced items, or transaction errors. Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment needs to purchasing or operations. Warehouse Support Assist with receiving, put-away, picking, and shipping activities as needed. Ensure all products are properly labeled, stored, and organized. Help maintain a clean, safe, and compliant warehouse environment. Documentation & Reporting Prepare and maintain accurate logs, reports, and inventory documentation. Process inventory transactions such as adjustments, transfers, and returns. Track key metrics such as shrink, accuracy trends, and usage patterns. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with warehouse leads, procurement, operations, and production teams to maintain inventory flow. Communicate shortages, delays, or quality issues promptly. Support audits and assist with implementing process improvements.
