Job Description
IP / Trademark Paralegal (Hybrid) Location: New York City, NY (Near Chinatown/Central Park) A premier, national law firm is seeking a high-performing IP / Trademark Paralegal for a priority hire in its New York City office. This role is designed for a professional who values both high-level legal work and a modern work-life balance. You will operate out of a brand-new, luxury office space featuring floor-to-ceiling windows with Central Park views and an on-site gym, all while enjoying a sustainable 3-day-per-week in-office (Hybrid) schedule. Quick Look: What You’ll Do Strategic Support: Partner directly with four attorneys to manage sophisticated trademark and IP matters. Portfolio Management: Lead domestic and international trademark prosecution, maintenance, and docketing. High-Impact Billing: Contribute to firm success with a target of 1,500 billable hours annually. Full Lifecycle Ownership: Manage the trademark process from initial filing through to registration and renewal. Candidate Requirements Experience: 5–7 years of dedicated trademark/IP paralegal experience. Expertise: Deep knowledge of USPTO filings and global portfolio management. Presence: Commitment to the NYC office 3 days per week (Connect Days). Self-Sufficiency: A proactive professional who can manage multiple attorney desks independently. Compensation & Perks Salary Range: $75,000 – $110,000 (Commensurate with experience/internal equity).
