Job Description
Minimum 1years Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist experience and ARRT certification required.Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A healthcare facility in Dallas, TX is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment with potential travel.This role involves performing high-quality interventional radiology procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients under the supervision of a Radiologist, following established protocols for diagnosing disease and injury.Responsibilities:Execute IR procedures efficiently and accurately according to exam protocols.Prepare patients and procedure areas, ensuring correct positioning and sterile technique.Communicate clearly with patients and families to explain procedures and assess tolerance.Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment in collaboration with engineers and physicists.Adhere strictly to safety, infection control, radiation, and drug policies.Document patient history, consent, and procedure details accurately and timely.Participate in on-call rotation, responding within 30 minutes when needed.Serve as a resource and preceptor for training new staff if required.Qualifications & Desired Experience:Current BLS (AHA Only), MRT, and ARRT certifications required.Minimum 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology/Cath Lab settings.Experience in body (trauma) and neuro (stroke) procedures strongly preferred.Familiarity with Level I Trauma Center environments and use of Epic electronic records preferred.Ability to work 4x10-hour shifts Monday through Friday, with rotating days off, call shifts, and weekend requirements.Must live within a 50-mile radius or be able to report within 30 minutes when on call (including drive and parking time).Work Schedule:Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM 5:00 PM Rotating day off and call shifts included Location:Dallas, TX is a vibrant metropolitan area known for its diverse culture, thriving economy, and excellent medical facilities.It offers a variety of recreational, dining, and entertainment options along with easy access to transportation and major highways, making it an attractive location for healthcare professionals.This position is temp only with virtual interview rounds available for your convenience.Hospital scrubs are providedno need to bring your own.Apply now to secure this rewarding opportunity to utilize your interventional radiology expertise in a Level I Trauma Center setting with flexible scheduling and meaningful patient care..
