Job Description
We are seeking a dependable Irrigation & Lighting Service Technician with at least 2 years of hands-on experience to manage daily service routes. The ideal candidate can independently troubleshoot standard sprinkler systems, maintain low-voltage landscape lighting, make reliable repairs, and communicate clearly with homeowners and property managers. Responsibilities: Perform seasonal irrigation maintenance, including system start-ups, inspections, and winterizations. Diagnose and repair common irrigation issues: broken lines, faulty sprinkler heads, leaking valves, and wiring faults. Troubleshoot and repair low-voltage landscape lighting systems, including replacing damaged fixtures, swapping LED bulbs, and locating/repairing cut wires. Test, program, and adjust both irrigation controllers and lighting transformers/timers. Use a multimeter to troubleshoot basic electrical issues across both water and lighting systems. Provide clear, professional updates to customers regarding the status of their repairs. Maintain accurate service logs and inventory on the company truck. Requirements: 2–4 years of direct experience servicing residential or commercial irrigation and landscape lighting systems. Solid understanding of basic hydraulics, water pressure, and low-voltage electrical systems. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently on a daily service route. Strong customer service and communication skills. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
