Our client is seeking an experienced Irrigation Manager to lead and oversee all irrigation operations within their Maintenance Division. This leadership role is responsible for managing irrigation technicians, ensuring irrigation systems operate efficiently across commercial properties, and maintaining high service standards. This position plays a key role in supporting landscape health, water management, and operational excellence across multiple communities and commercial properties. Position Overview The Irrigation Manager will oversee the planning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of irrigation systems. This role includes supervising technicians, coordinating service schedules, and ensuring compliance with water management regulations. The ideal candidate is a hands on leader with strong irrigation expertise and team management experience. Key Responsibilities Irrigation Operations Oversee all irrigation systems within the Maintenance Division Manage inspection, repair, and maintenance of commercial irrigation systems Diagnose issues related to valves, wiring, controllers, pumps, and pressure Ensure efficient operation to support landscape health and reduce water waste Team Leadership Supervise and support irrigation technicians and field staff Provide training and improve team performance Schedule and assign service work Promote accountability and professionalism System Monitoring and Water Management Monitor system performance and improve efficiency Adjust schedules based on weather and seasonal needs Ensure compliance with local water regulations Identify upgrade opportunities Maintenance Division Support Collaborate with Maintenance and Account Managers Assist with plant health issues related to irrigation Coordinate repairs with minimal disruption Safety and Compliance Follow company safety procedures Maintain safe jobsite practices Ensure compliance with local and state regulations Qualifications Experience 5 plus years in commercial irrigation systems 2 plus years in a leadership or supervisory role Strong troubleshooting experience with irrigation systems Skills Team leadership and management Problem solving and troubleshooting Ability to manage multiple sites Strong communication and organization Preferred Qualifications Irrigation or landscape certifications Experience with HOAs, CDDs, or large communities Knowledge of smart irrigation controllers and water systems What We Offer Competitive pay Career growth opportunities Supportive team environment Company vehicle (if applicable) Health benefits and PTO
