Irrigation Systems Technician

Job SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Irrigation Technician/Installer to join our growing company.This role is ideal for individuals that love working outside and are looking to kickstart their career in the technical/installation field.No experience is required.The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing irrigation systems while providing excellent customer service.Duties Start up and Winterizations of irrigation systems Perform routine inspections of irrigation systems Identify issues, leaks, malfunctioning sprinklers, and faulty wiring Programming controllers Must be able to lift 50 lbs.& perform labor intensive tasks Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus.Basic understanding of industrial maintenance practices Ability to read and interpret technical documents in English.Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and problem-solving.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing technologies.Previous experience in a related field is an advantage but not required.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$21.50 - $35.00 per hour Benefits:Employee discount Health savings account Paid time off Retirement plan Schedule:Monday to Friday No nights Overtime Weekends as needed Ability to Commute:Terryville, CT 06786 (Required) Ability to Relocate:Terryville, CT 06786:Relocate before starting work (Required) Willingness to travel:25% (Preferred) Work Location:In person.
