Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Irrigation Technician to join our landscape maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining irrigation systems that ensure healthy, vibrant lawns and landscapes. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain irrigation systems across diverse landscapes using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as excavators. Conduct routine inspections to identify leaks, clogs, or malfunctions in irrigation components and resolve issues promptly. Adjust sprinkler heads and valves to ensure even water distribution tailored to specific landscape needs. Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to coordinate watering schedules that support healthy lawn care and horticultural practices. Operate construction equipment safely when installing new irrigation lines or upgrading existing systems. Maintain detailed records of system repairs, installations, and inspections for ongoing maintenance planning. Follow safety protocols rigorously while handling tools, machinery, and chemicals involved in irrigation work. Experience Proven experience with irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance in a landscaping or horticultural setting. Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing, pumps, valves, and sprinkler components. Familiarity with landscaping principles including lawn care, landscape maintenance, and horticulture best practices. Hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such as excavators. Knowledge of land grading, drainage solutions, and general construction techniques is a plus. Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints related to irrigation layouts. Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail to diagnose issues quickly and efficiently.
