Job OverviewJoin our team as an Irrigation Technician and play a vital role in maintaining and optimizing landscape irrigation systems to ensure lush, healthy lawns and vibrant landscapes.This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, utilize your mechanical and horticultural skills, and contribute to beautiful, sustainable environments.As an Irrigation Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining irrigation systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively.Your expertise will help keep landscapes thriving while supporting the overall health of outdoor spaces.Duties Install, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.Conduct routine inspections of irrigation components to identify leaks, clogs, or malfunctions.Adjust sprinkler heads and valves to ensure even water coverage across landscaped areas.Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care, pruning, and general landscaping to complement irrigation efforts.Operate construction equipment like excavators when necessary for system installation or repairs.Collaborate with team members on projects involving landscaping, horticulture practices, and land development.Maintain detailed records of system repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities for operational efficiency.Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various tools and equipment.Experience with irrigation systems installation and repair.Knowledge of lawn care, landscape maintenance, and general landscaping principles.Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such as excavators.Understanding of horticulture practices related to healthy plant growth and landscape aesthetics.Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints for system layouts.Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues quickly and effectively.This role is perfect for motivated individuals who thrive outdoors and enjoy working with their hands while contributing to beautiful landscapes.We value safety, craftsmanship, and a positive attitude--if that sounds like you, we'd love to see your application!
