Job Summary The Irrigation Technician is responsible for the repair, operation, maintenance, and construction of irrigation and drainage systems including ensuring that all systems operate within their original design specifications. This role involves both skilled and semi-skilled irrigation construction and maintenance work, including the repair and installation of PVC, ADS (slotted and solid), and poly pipes and fittings. Additionally, the role requires a strong understanding of drainage issues and the ability to address surface and subsurface drainage problems through modification, addition, and installation of appropriate drainage solutions. Reporting Structure Reports to the Equipment Manager or Superintendent Day to Day: Perform regular maintenance on irrigation systems, including cleaning and adjusting sprinkler heads to ensure proper function and coverage, and replacing or repairing broken equipment. Keep all irrigation equipment in good working order by washing, fueling (if applicable), and returning equipment to designated storage areas. Maintain daily usage records and report any issues or overuse to Superintendent. Safely operate powered equipmen
