ansr source is hiring a content and assessment SMEs to support the design and development of structured, learner-centered courses in IT and Computer Science. These courses are intended for adults who are working professionals their fields. They are equivalent to 3-credit courses, and the work is expected to take 12-14 weeks. This project is paid per course (not hourly). Responsibilities for Content SMEs: Collaborate with our instructional design team to define learning outcomes and course structure Develop clear, practical, and engaging content aligned to adult learners Create real-world examples, case studies, and applied exercises Review and refine course materials for accuracy, clarity, and relevance Participate in periodic content review meetings Review assessments created by the Assessment SME Responsibilities for Assessment SMEs: Review course materials created by the Content SME for accuracy, clarity, and relevance Create assessments based on the course created by the Content SME Participate in periodic content review meetings Successful candidates will have: Required: A Master’s or PhD in the selected content area (or a closely related field) More than three years of recent teaching experience (lecturer/instructor/adjunct/professor in the selected content area in a college or university setting (TA and GA work do not count towards this requirement) Ability to translate complex data concepts into accessible learning materials Ability to meet established development timelines and participate in structured review cycles Impeccable written and spoken English Ability to work U.S. hours and earn taxable income in the U.S. without Visa support Preferred: Experience with content writing and content review Experience with assessment creation (objective and subjective) for online courses Experience teaching college students online Understanding of Bloom's taxonomy Experience as a practitioner in the field
