Job Description
The IT Desktop Analyst under direct supervision, troubleshoots and responds to service desk tickets for software and hardware issues, including remote support of PC's and peripherals in a networked environment.Pay Rate:Up to $40.00/hour, depending on experience.Assignment Length:12-month contract with a high possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.Responsibilities:Follow up with customers to ensure satisfactory incident closure; update and close call records for all work performed.Identify and escalate technical problems that cannot be resolved within established service level agreements (SLAs).Assist with the installation and de-installation of software, PCs, and various peripherals as required.Ensure all technical work is performed in strict accordance with company policies, standards, and operating procedures.Complete assigned tasks independently and provide technical assistance to team members as directed.Maintain high standards of accuracy; tasks are structured so that errors are readily identifiable and correctable by supervisors.Qualifications:Skills are typically acquired through Acertification or equivalent work experience.Minimum of 1 year of related experience in desktop support, specifically within a Microsoft environment.Foundational knowledge of desktop hardware components and troubleshooting.Proficiency in the Microsoft ecosystem (Windows OS and Office Suite).Ability to follow established workflows and documentation standards.Halliburton is an innovative leader in the oilfield services industry, providing products and services for the ever-evolving needs of the energy sector.Since starting out over a hundred years ago, Halliburton's path to success has been built on growth.Today, with over 50,000 employees worldwide and 1500 new openings every year, our talent needs have never been greater.That's why Halliburton has partnered with Talent Solutions to meet their ongoing contingent staffing needs.If you want to grow your career alongside an industry leader that is changing the world of energy, then we look forward to connecting with you inside our Halliburton Contingent Workforce Network - your gateway to meaningful work opportunities all in one place.#HALL24.
