Description Our healthcare client is looking for a Infrastructure Project Manager to lead and coordinate medium to large-scale IT initiatives that support the ongoing transformation and expansion of sites in Nassau County & Queens. This role requires a strong technical foundation and the ability to manage complex, cross-functional IT projects in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have progressed from a hands-on technical role (such as desktop or technical support) into project management and understands how to effectively coordinate across multiple IT disciplines. Experience within MS Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) Key Responsibilities: Lead IT projects from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and budget. Coordinate across multiple IT teams including structured cabling, construction, desktop support, networking, AV, and related infrastructure groups. Identify when to engage appropriate technical teams and ensure seamless collaboration across stakeholders. Partner with construction and facilities teams to support campus transformation initiatives. Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations. Own project budgeting, including cost estimation, tracking, forecasting, and reporting. Facilitate large stakeholder meetings, including agenda creation, leading discussions, and documenting outcomes, risks, and action items. Maintain thorough project documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, and project artifacts. Act as a liaison between IT teams and clinical staff, ensuring technology solutions align with operational and patient care needs. Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and roadblocks, and drive mitigation strategies. Proven experience managing medium to large-scale IT projects in complex enterprise environments. Strong technical background, with prior hands-on experience in desktop support, technical support, or similar IT roles. Solid understanding of IT infrastructure including networking, structured cabling, AV systems, and end-user computing. Experience with budgeting, financial tracking, and project cost management. Proficiency in Power BI for reporting and data visualization. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel. Hands-on experience with SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical teams and clinical stakeholders. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience working in a hybrid work environment. Experience working in a healthcare or hospital IT environment. Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA). Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Mineola, NY. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $75.00/hr.
