Job Description
A good student experience is never hands-off. We are dedicated to fostering a dynamic learning environment where students actively engage in practical experiences throughout their time with us. From the beginning, students are entrusted with specific responsibilities, ensuring they play a significant role in their learning journey. As valued team members, students are also encouraged to share and implement their own ideas, enhancing both their personal growth and the collective success of the team. Description: Perform setup and maintenance of IT infrastructure with guidance from senior engineers. Integrate multi-vendor solutions using a vendor-agnostic design approach. Monitor capacity and prepare scalability forecasts and recommendations. Ensure system availability, redundancy, backups, and recoverability through proactive operational processes (installations, patches, upgrades, preventative maintenance, and high-availability design). Collaborate on complex technical projects within a large enterprise IT environment. Support long-term planning and lifecycle requirements for infrastructure systems. Document system designs, configurations, lessons learned, and best practices. Take action based on service metrics and operational reports to ensure stability and security. Participate in infrastructure lifecycle management to minimize operational risk and ensure continuity. Work collaboratively within BMW's global infrastructure network-including product owners, operations managers, and technical teams-to ensure global standards and procedures are followed. Ensure adherence to BMW Group strategy across technical decisions. Maintain technical security architecture, platform availability, performance, and maintenance routines. Provide technical direction to contractors, service providers, and internal partners. S
