The Opportunity Smurfit WestRock has embarked on an ERP Modernization project for its NA Consumer division. It will be a multi-year program aligned to goals to become the world’s best paper and packaging company. The IT Integration Specialist is a part of our Consumer NA IT team responsible for deploying the ePS Packaging Suite software and associated programs needed to run production facilities. This role will serve as a trusted partner, advisor and thought leader on the future state technology landscape (ERP and legacy systems environment), and systems implementation. This position will be responsible for designing and maintaining integrations between the ePS Packaging Suite (PS) systems and outside applications, and data sources. Location and/or Business/Division Details (if applicable) Title: Integration Specialist Position Summary How you will impact WestRock: Provide expert knowledge for integrating the ePS PS and associated value-added products forming the ERP standard template. Perform detailed discovery activity to support implementations. Create and document test scenarios, support structures (e.g., RACI) and validation documentation. Create solution architecture and documentation integration details (message types, triggers, etc.). Evaluate and document integration enhancement requests. Monitor post-implementation performance, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement. What You Need To Succeed 3yrs experience in similar industry preferred History working with RESTful APIs and tools such as Postman for solution POCs[TC1] [SF2] [TC3] . Experience with database querying for validation or POCs (e.g., SQL). Familiarity with scripting or basic programming is a plus. Working knowledge of systems and processes of converting plants is preferred. Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
