Role: IT Manager/Director Based in Houston Tx Hybrid VISA SUPPORT IS NOT BEING OFFERED AT THIS TIME. No 3rd parties please. Our client is a PE-backed, newly independent, natural gas storage platform divested from a major regional public utility, seeking an IT Manager who will play a key role in building out the company's IT function from the ground up post-carve-out, including supporting the selection and implementation of a new ERP, while leading the exit from the former parent's transition services arrangement. Reporting to the CFO, the IT Manager will own day-to-day IT operations, infrastructure, applications, and cybersecurity across corporate and operating sites. This is a high-visibility, owner-mindset role with access to the CEO, executive team, and PE sponsor. The IT Manager is a hands-on operator with end-to-end responsibility for running, securing, and improving the Company's IT estate. The role is hands-on and pragmatic in equal measure: personally leading vendor coordination and transition workstreams in the initial build phase, supporting the ERP program as a core contributor, and operating a lean environment supported by managed service providers in steady state. Responsibilities The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in the following areas: Stand Up IT from the Ground Up ERP Selection & Implementation Cybersecurity Across Corporate and Operating Sites OT / IT Interface (SCADA, ICS, Field Operations) Enterprise IT Operations & Service Delivery Budget, Vendors & Governance Plusses: Prior role at a PE-backed portfolio company, particularly through a carve-out or standalone standup.
