Job Description BAE Systems is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our IT team, supporting a large enterprise, key government customer in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment. The Project Manager needs to be able to understand and execute the basic traditional principals of IT program management such as progress reporting, cost estimates and cost to complete reports, the ability to approve requirements, financial costs and budgets, deliverables, schedules, procurements, quality, etc. He/she must also have a solid understanding of the Government customer relationships along with understanding their technical IT capabilities. Should understand the enterprise collaboration baseline and have an understanding of the future strategic vision of the enterprise collaboration. This position requires a strong IT background and previous hands-on IT technical experience. A key aspect of the Project Manager’s job is to ensure that solutions are secure in accordance with the mission processes. This program delivers “No-Fail”, always-available enterprise services with modern technology solutions for the customer workforce on-premises. The Program Manager will be as a liaison lead between the on-site support team and the government customer across multiple site locations. Responsibilities will include participation with work force acquisitions, new hire site access along with in-processing and out processing, security nomination screening packages, training, and evaluation of performance for daily duties. Must be very reliable, highly competent, and exhibit confidence with a strong customer commitment to provide immediate solutions and results in a rapidly changing environment.
