ROLE SUMMARY: The IT SOX Analyst supports Quanterix’s Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance program by ensuring the effectiveness of IT controls across enterprise systems, cloud platforms, and laboratory-related technologies. This role is responsible for documenting, testing, and monitoring IT General Controls (ITGCs) and key system controls that support financial reporting. Working cross-functionally with IT, Finance, and Internal Audit, the IT SOX Analyst helps identify risks, supports remediation efforts, and contributes to maintaining a strong and scalable control environment within a regulated, high-growth organization. WHAT YOU’LL DO: Support the execution of the IT SOX program, including control documentation, walkthroughs, and testing activities Perform testing of IT General Controls (ITGCs), including user access, change management, and system operations Evaluate automated controls and IT-dependent manual controls within financial systems Identify control gaps and partner with control owners to support remediation efforts Assist with SOX risk assessments and ongoing monitoring activities Partner with internal and external auditors to provide documentation and support audit requests Maintain and update SOX documentation, including narratives, risk and control matrices, and process flows Collaborate with IT, Finance, and business teams to strengthen controls and improve processes Support systems in scope for SOX, including ERP systems, cloud platforms, and laboratory systems (e.g., LIMS) Contribute to process improvement initiatives, including opportunities for automation and standardization BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience) Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in IT audit, SOX compliance, or IT risk management; or 3 years with a Master’s degree Working knowledge of IT General Controls (ITGCs) and SOX requirements PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience supporting SOX compliance in a public company environment Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and related controls Experience with regulated systems (e.g., GxP or laboratory systems such as LIMS) Professional certifications such as CISA, CPA, or CISSP Experience with audit or GRC tools Strong documentation and organizational skills EXPECTATIONS, COMPETENCIES, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Billerica, MA (Hybrid 3 days in office 2 days work from home) Travel 10% Must lift 25 pounds WHY YOU’LL LIKE WORKING WITH US: Our Technology : From discovery to diagnostics, Quanterix’s ultrasensitive biomarker detection is fueling breakthroughs only made possible through its unparalleled sensitivity and flexibility.
