The Opportunity Smurfit WestRock has embarked on an ERP Modernization project for its NA Consumer division. It will be a multi-year program aligned to goals to become the world’s best paper and packaging company. The Testing Specialist is a part of our Consumer NA IT team responsible for deploying the ePS Packaging Suite (PS) software and associated programs needed to run production facilities. This position is responsible for the testing and validation of the ePS PS and associated integrations for implementations, enhancements, and data migration. Location and/or Business/Division Details (if applicable) Title Testing Specialist - Position Summary How you will impact WestRock: Participate in all stages of development cycle by developing a test plan, validating new features and supervising the completion of automated and manual QA tests. Document detailed requirements, identify and develop solutions, test, and document the solutions, and provide clear guidance on plant requirements to the implementation teams. Conduct functional, integration, regression and user acceptance testing to ensure the ePS Packaging Suite / Internal Systems meets business requirements. Identify, document, and track defects and issues, working with the development team to resolve them. Provide training and support to plant users on the testing processes and tools used to test the ePS Packaging Suite and other internal systems. Oversee data validation quality using the Palantir tool, ensuring data integrity and accuracy throughout the ePS Packaging Suite / Internal Systems implementation process. Collaborate with data analysts and stakeholders to define data validation requirements and criteria. Monitor and report on data validation activities, addressing any issues or discrepancies promptly. What You Need To Succeed 5+ relevant years’ experience working in testing Experience in writing manual and automated test cases Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Working knowledge of test automation ideally using Tricentis Tosca, Selenium or similar tools. Familiarity with data quality and transformation testing tools and methodologies using a tool such as Palantir.
