Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to join our dynamic facilities team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our commercial and residential spaces. Your efforts will ensure that all areas are hygienic, well-organized, and presentable, supporting the overall operations and comfort of our facilities. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing. Handle waste disposal and recycling to ensure cleanliness and environmental responsibility Maintain cleanliness of windows, glass surfaces, and fixtures to promote clarity and brightness Assist with light maintenance tasks including minor repairs and touch-up painting as needed Use industrial cleaning tools for deep cleaning tasks in high-traffic or specialized areas Follow safety protocols during all cleaning procedures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health standards Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and industrial cleaning methods Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks. Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor scrubbers safely and effectively Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness standards Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks involving standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment Reliable team player with strong communication skills and a positive attitude Join us in creating clean, safe environments that make a difference every day!
